The third step of the revision process is rethink, this is its purpose:

• To read through your rough draft checking for tone and voice

• To write a new draft after taking into consideration all of your changes

• To begin marking up and making the changes you considered in the previous step

• To reflect on how your paper is coming across and begin to consider changes
