Read the following selection and answer the question that follows.
Lincoln Logs
If you have ever built a small house or building using a toy that consisted of miniature notched logs, then you probably know what a Lincoln Log is. Lincoln Logs were invented sometime around 1916 by John Lloyd Wright. John was working in Tokyo, Japan on the Imperial Hotel that was designed by his father. The foundation of the hotel was built using interlocking log beams that made the structure earthquake-proof. When he returned to the U.S., John began a toy company called the Red Square Toy Company. He wanted to design a construction toy that used the same principles of the interlocking log beams his father had used. With this in mind, he began making and manufacturing Lincoln Logs. They toy came with the instructions on how to build a miniature version of Abraham Lincoln's cabin. This is how Lincoln Logs got their name. Over the years, Lincoln Logs have become a very popular toy with many generations of children around the world.
WHAT IS THE PARAGRAPH ABOVE MOSTLY ABOUT?

The Microwave
(1) Cooking technology has changed drastically over the last century. In colonial America, pioneers cooked over a campfire or a fireplace in a log cabin. In the 1800s, wood-burning and coal-burning stoves were used in homes. Lighter, compact, and efficient gas ranges became available in the early 1900s. But in-home cooking really took a leap forward with the invention of the microwave in 1945, although they didn't become commonplace in houses until the late 1970s.
(2) No longer did popcorn have to be cooked on a stove top in an oil-coated pan. Consumers just had to take off the plastic wrapper and toss the bag of kernels into the microwave. A roast that took five hours to cook on the stove top, could now be cooked in less than an hour. Reheating any dish could be done with the snap of a finger. On a traditional stovetop, reheating would have been time consuming and messy. Few advances in food preparation have been as impactful on the American household as the microwave oven.
In paragraph 2, a compare-and-contrast pattern is used to organize the ideas the paragraph mainly to -
show differences between fireplace cooking and microwave preparation
emphasize how a popular invention has helped people cook roasts faster
highlight the advantages of owning the newest technology
describe the differences regarding the traditional stove and the microwave oven
