Why is it important that you test and adjust your volume before we start the test?

• It isn't important. You can adjust it at any time throughout the test.

• You cannot adjust the volume after you start the test.

What should it say in the top right corner by the person icon?

• It should say my user tag.

• It should say my identification number.

• It should say my full name.

What is the point of the Review button?

• You click on the Review button to see all of the questions on the test. It shows what questions have been answered, the ones that are unanswered, and which ones have been bookmarked. You can also click on the questions and it will bring you right to them from this drop-down menu.

• It checks all of your answers.

• It just tells you which questions you have skipped.

Why would you bookmark a question?

• You bookmark questions that you really like.

• You may bookmark a question is you are sure that you got the answer correct.

• You could bookmark a question if you are having a hard time with it and want to move on. By bookmarking it, it will help to remind you to go back and finish it.

What is an example of a time when your teacher may ask you to sign out of TestNav?

• A teacher may ask a student to sign out of TestNav if they are going to take a break for lunch.

• A teacher may ask a student to sign out of TestNav if the student wants to take a nap in the middle of testing.

Is this student all done with their test?

• Yes

• No

This student does not have any skipped or bookmarked questions, but what should this student do before submitting their final answers?

• This student doesn't need to do anything else. They just need to click Submit Final Answers.

• This student should check their work and let the teacher know that they are done before clicking Submit Final Answers

• This student should just make sure they check their work before submitting their final answers.

The Notepad tools allow you to take notes in TestNav, but what is an important thing that you need to remember about the Notepad tool?

• The Notepad tool has a spellcheck function.

• The notes that you take will only be visible in the Notepad for that question. If you take notes in the Notepad for question 2, you will not be able to see those notes in question 3.

• The Notepad isn't available for everyone.

How should a student use the Answer Eliminator tool?

• The Answer Eliminator tool allows students to cross out answers that are obviously wrong, helping students narrow down their answer choices.
