Meditation verse for the book of first Samuel chapters 5&6:

In Chapter 5 we learn about how God allowed the Philistines to take the ark of covenant to chastise His people to make them realize they lost the dwelling of God in their midst because of their corruption. Also, we see God’s glory and might, when Dagon the idol of the Philistines fell before the ark of God.

In Chapter 6 we read about the returning of the ark of covenant to God’s children after 7 months in philistines’ capture.

In Chapter 6 verse 15 the Ark of covenant returned to the children of Israel, despite it was impossible for them to return it by their own!! We never to lose hope, and the things we can’t do God is able to do it. We should always put our trust in the Lord who is able to deliver us.
