Pieces of paper, fragments of paper, or garbage! Any of these previous answers are correct! But when it comes to sentences, we call broken sentences FRAGMENTS, because they are NOT a whole. They are missing three things: a subject, verb and a complete thought. To summarize, what makes a sentence a SENTENCE? (check all that apply!)
