Is this a primary source?

The Spoliarium is a painting by a Filipino painter. The painting was submitted by Juan Luna to the Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes in 1884 in Madrid, where it garnered the first gold medal.

That original painting is hanging now in the National Museum of Fine Arts.
