• After the civil war, Americans in different towns and cities began having celebrations for the fallen or soldiers who died during the war.

• After World War ll, people in America started to visit graves pray for the families who lost members during the war.

• After World War l, people in some towns, in America, started to have gatherings and pray for their loved ones.

Memorial Day was orignally called Decoration Day and was celebrated for soldiers who died in the Civil War. Now the name is changed to Memorial Day and now celebrates veterans who have sacrified their lives!
