After learning how to walk only last month, Reina, the baby deer, fretted having to leave her mother and venture off on her own. Each spare moment she had, Reina would find herself behind, beside, or around her mother. She was fearful - of predators, of the vastness of the forest, and most importantly, of the unknown...

After sometime, her Mother had made it clear that she needed to go and make a life for herself. Reina was shocked, and refused to believe that her Mother could be so heartless.

Reina looked crestfallen at her Mother's words. "How could tell me to go out on my own? I don't know anything yet, and I still need your guidance!" Her Mother, with her knowing smile, remarked gently, "Reina, it's ok. I understand how you feel. But sometimes, you can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
