2 Samuel 9&10

Meditation verse for chapters 9&10 of 2 Samuel: In chapter 9 we learn about how king David was kind to Mephibosheth the grandchild of king Saul and the son of Jonthan the best friend of David. King David restored all the lands of Saul to Mephibosheth and made him to eat on his table every day. In chapter 10 we learn about how the kings of neighbors of Israel gathered against David. God was with David and gave him victory over the Ammonites and the kings of Aram. In chapter 9 verse 8 we read that Mephibosheth humbled himself before David and bowed to him because he was grateful for his kindness. We should thank and appreciate the people who offer any help for us, and start our prayers with thanksgiving to God for all His blessings in our lives.
