• ขึ้นต้นด้วย Wh-Question words

• ขึ้นต้นด้วย verb to be/ to do /to have /Can /Could/Shall/Should/Will/Would

• ตามหลัง ประธานด้วย asked ( someone) if หรือ whether

• เรียงประโยคคำถาม ให้เป็น ประโยคบอกเล่า

• เปลี่ยน tense ให้เป็นอดีตกว่า ใน Direct speech

"Is Brian well-behaved?" Mrs. Gardner asked.

• Mrs. Gardner asked if Brian was well-behaved.

• Mrs.Gardner was Brian well-behaved?

" Do you prefer classical music to jazz?" Dan asked me.

• เรียงลำดับ ใหม่เป็นwhere was the nearest station
