Present simple and present continuous

We use present continuous to express an action (more than one option is correct):

• which is happening at the moment of speaking

• which is happening around the moment of speaking

• is happening in the near future and it is planned 

• happens according to the time table

• She is watering her flowers every morning.

Which one is correct?

• He is watching TV now.

• He watched TV now.

Time adverbs for present simple:

• usually, right now, at the moment, always, etc.

• at the moment, right now, at 6 o'clock, etc.

• usually, never, always, every morning, every year, etc.

Adverbs for present continuous

• at the moment,usually,right now, always, never, now. 

• at the moment, right now, at 7 p.m., currently

• usually,never,ever,all the time

We use present simple to express an action which happens repeatedly.
