Present perfect

I use the Present Perfect when

• the result of the action in the past is important in the present.

• the action is happening at the moment of speaking

• the action finished in the past

Typical signal words for the Present Perfect are

• already, just, lately, recently, ever, yet

• often, usually, always, rarely

• at the moment, now, right now

I use........................... of the verb to form the Present Perfect.

• do/does+V3

• is/are+V+ing

• have/has+V3

I use ........................to form the negative.

• did+not+ infinitive of the verb

• do+not+infinitive of the verb

• have/has+not+V3

I use ...........................to form the negative in the 3rd person singular(he, she, it).

• does+not+infinitive of the verb

• has+not+V3

• have+not+V3

I can use the contracted form..............for have + not and ................. for has + not .

I add.........to the infinitive of regular verbs when I use the past participle.

With irregular verbs I use the form in the 3rd column of the table of the irregular verbs.

• in the 3rd column of the table of the irregular verbs.

• in the 2nd column of the table of the irregular verbs.

• in the 1st column of the table of the irregular verbs.
