• S + V.to be + as + adjective + as object.

• S + V.to be + adjective (er) + than + object.

• S + V.to be + the + adjective (est)

• S + V. to be + er + object.

หลักการทำคุณศัพท์ (adjective) ให้เป็นขั้นกว่า (เลือกได้มากกว่า 1 คำตอบ)

• คำที่ลงท้ายด้วย er, le และ ow ให้เติม er

• เติม most หน้าคำคุณศัพท์ มี 2 พยางค์ขึ้นไป

• เติม more หน้าคำคุณศัพท์ที่มี 2 พยางค์ขึ้นไป

• คำคุณศัพท์บางคำจะต้องเปลี่ยนรูป เช่น good เป็น better
