What is a Collage

• A picture that is made from gluing many papers together.

• This results from an assemblage of many different materials, thus creating a new artwork.

• A pretty picture glued together.

• An educational institution or establishment, providing higher education or specialized professional or vocational training.

What is a Loom?

• A group of aquatic birds found in many parts of North America and northern Eurasia.

• This can only be made from cardboard; used to weave.

• A loom is a device used to weave cloth and tapestry.

• A type of sewing machine.

What is a Warp String?

• The yarn we weave is drawn through and inserted over and under the warp.

• Becoming out of shape, typically as a result of the effects of heat or dampness.

• The lengthwise yarns are held stationary in tension on a frame or loom.

• An extremely high speed.

What is the Weft String

• String that is used to hang a completed weaving.

• Yarn that is drawn through and inserted over and under the warp.

• A very fuzzy and soft piece of yarn.

• The lengthwise yarns are held stationary in tension on a frame or loom
