How to Deal with criticism

If a person comes up to you and makes a comment on your project how would you react?

• Fight with them.

• Criticize them back.

• Stay calm and correct your mistake.

• Ignore and say nothing.

Criticism diminishes what?

• Skin

• Beauty

• Intelligence

• Diminishes Self confidence

How to react when you get criticized

• Insult them back

• Shout back in anger

• Get upset and cry

• Be calm and tell them how you feel.

Define: Constructive Criticism

• Rude comments and remarks about one's appearance, project etc.

• Remarks and comments which help and teach about our mistakes and issues.

• A way of making fun of others.

• Remarks to make one feel bad and upset.

How would you deal with criticism and what do you think about constructive criticism?

How would YOU react to criticism. (Be truthful and understand there are multiple ways to over come criticism)

Is criticism useful?

• Harsh and can ruin people's self esteem

• Can be beneficial if and when its constructive criticism.

• It can be useful and be damaging its best not to criticize people much.

Real life application- You are approached by your friend who claims to be better then you in drawing. She tells you your art is terrible and that you will never be a good artist. What will you do? And is this constructive or destructive criticism?

• Constructive criticism. Shes only trying to make you understand that your not fit for this.

• Destructive Criticism. Shes trying to let you down and give up.
