What is NOT an enterprise?

What is a project?

• a temporary organization that is created to manage the whole set of company divisions
• a group of people, created to deliver a product to reach business goal
• a temporary organization that is created for the purpose of delivering one or more business products according to an agreed business case
• a product, which is aiming to solve potential business task

What is project management?

• the process of methodologies application to create the final product
• the discipline of applying different approaches to create the final product and deliver it
• the discipline in operations management in which people use various methods to discover, model, analyze, measure, improve, optimize, and automate business processes
• the discipline of applying specific processes and principles to initiate, plan, execute and manage results implementation

What is a business process?

• an activity or set of activities that can accomplish a specific organizational goal
• the activities carried out by an enterprise
• discrete part of a company that may operate under the same name
• any activity engaged in the primary purpose of making a profit

• a set of core competences to provide systematic business development
• a systematic approach to company evaluation
• a set of methods and standards to manage a project
• a systematic approach to improving those processes and it helps achieve business goals
