• Islam ruled Spain in 732 and were called the Moors and many Spanish culture still has Arab influence to this day

• They both like tasty food and liked to sit around the table and talk about it many years ago.

Islamic armies conquered Spain, North Africa, parts of Northern India, Afghanistan and part of Central Asia in AD 800.
