What is an Adjustment Layer?

• Permanent adjustments on your image

What does a Saturation Adjustment do?

• Changes the color.

• Makes the color light or dark.

• Changes the intensity or richness of a color.

• Changes primary colors.

What does the Black/White adjustment layer do?

• Makes the image black and white.

• Changes ONLY black and white color in an image.

• Colorizes a black and white image.

• Allows you to use the Brush Tool in Black and White.

What does the Gradient Tool do?

• A map of every color you use in an image.

• Shows you the colors in an image.

• Allows you to creatively color grade an image

• Allows you to select a color anywhere on an image.

How do you add an adjustment layer?

• Go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer and choose an Adjustment.

• Go to Image>

  Adjustments and choose an Adjustment.

• Add a new layer to your image by clicking on the plus icon.

• Use the brush tool to paint black and white.

What does the Brush Tool do to an Adjustment Layer?

• Turns the Adjustment Layer off or on.

• Allows you to draw over an area you want visible or invisible for an adjustment.

• Allows you to adjust the colors on a Layer.
