Surah Inshiqaq

Surah Al-Inshiqaq was revealed in

• Egypt

• Medina

• Mecca

Al-Inshiqaq means

• earth leveled

• splitting asunder

• toiling towards your lord

• sunset glowing

The theme (focus) of Surah Al-Inshiqaq is

• the obligation of prayer

• the rewards in paradise

• the Day of Resurrection

In Surah Al-Inshiqaq, when the disbelievers receive their records of deeds, what is their reations?

• they will rejoice / happy

in verse 6, "0 mankind, you are indeed toiling

towards your Lord in painful toil-a sure returning" means

• that all efforts of people in this world is wasteful

• people make efforts/deeds and they will met Allah with all the deeds that they do on Earth

• all human should make efforts all their life

In verse 19, 'You are bound to move onward from stage to stage" means

• the moon and sun all develope from stage to stage

• human will surely go through different stages throughout their life

• Allah had created stages in life for a purpose
