Dear Claire,

Hi! How are you? My family and I arrived in Cape Town, South Africa yesterday.

The flight was long, but I enjoyed it. We’re staying in a really nice hotel, the Harbour Bridge.

Our room has got a fantastic view of Table Mountain.

We can’t wait to explore everything! Today, we are taking a bus tour around the city.

We’re going to see the famous landmarks and I’m going to take some photographs with my new camera.

In the afternoon, we’re going shopping in Greenmarket Square in the centre of the city.

I’m going to buy some souvenirs for all my friends back home.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day too. My dad and I are going to visit Boulders Beach.

My dad wants to see the penguins that live there, and I’m going to do some surfing.

I can’t wait! That’s all my news for now. See you when I get back to England.
