Initially we learnt the first case of the Mishna that we know the new moon was seen from:

• Beis Din and all Jewish people seeing it and witnesses being interrogated

• Beis Din and all Jewish people seeing it

• Beis Din and all Jewish people seeing it or witnesses being interrogated

• Beis Din seeing it

• Witnesses seeing it

In the cunclusion we learn the first case of the Mishna, that we know the new moon was seen from:

Orriginally we learn the Second case of the Mishna is:

• Beis Din and all the Jewish people saw the moon and it got dark before Beis Din managed to say מקודש

• Only Beis din (of 5 people or more) saw the moon

• A Beis Din of only three people saw the moon

• Witnesses were interrogated about seeing the moon, and it got dark before Beis Din managed to say מקודש

If Beis Din did not manage to proclaimed Rosh Chodes before dark on the 30th day:

• The month is extended

• Beis Din can proclaim the new month at night, since the procedure started at day

• Beis Din can retroactively proclaimed the 30 day Rosh Chodesh the following day

• If all Jews saw the new moon, that day is decleard Rosh Chodesh, if we only rely on witnesses, the month is extended

The Halacha taught in the first case, when all Jewish people saw the moon and Rosh Chodesh is postponed is:

• Despite, the publicity of all Jews seeing the moon, once it is dark Beis Din can't proclaiming Rosh Chodesh, and the month is extended

• Even if the proceedings started by day, if they didn't proclaim Rosh Chodesh, Rosh Chodesh is postponend.

• Beis Din needs to proclaim Rosh Chodesh even if all the Jews saw the moon

• If all the Jews saw the moon, It is automatically Rosh Chodesh, without proclaiming it.

The Halacha taught in the Second case, is:

• Despite, the publicity of all Jews seeing the moon, once it is dark Beis Din can't proclaiming Rosh Chodesh, and the month is extended

• Even if the proceedings started by day, if they didn't proclaim Rosh Chodesh, Rosh Chodesh is postponend.

• Beis Din needs to proclaim Rosh Chodesh even if all the Jews saw the moon

• If all the Jews saw the moon, It is automatically Rosh Chodesh, without proclaiming it.

If Beis Dis saw the moon,

• Two of the Beis Din stand and testify to the rest, the other members of Beis Din then proclaim Rosh Chodes

• Members of this Beis Din must attend another Beis Din and testify, and the other Beis Din proclaims Rosh Chodes

• Two other members mush be added to the Beis Din instead of the two members testifying, then Beis Din proclaims Rosh Chodesh

• Beis Din who saw the new moon can always proclaim the new month

If Beis Dis of three only saw the moon,

• Two of the Beis Din stand to testify to the third member, then all three proclaim Rosh Chodes

• Members of this Beis Din testify in front of another Beis Din, and the other Beis Din proclaims Rosh Chodes

• Two of them testify, after two other judges join the third, forming a Beis Din, who then proclaim Rosh Chodesh

• Beis Din who saw the new moon can always proclaim the new month

Beis Din who started a monitory case during the day, but did not give the verdict:

• May continue and give the verdict at night

• Must wait to give the verdict the next day

• Must restart the court case the next day
