You should do everything in your power to come visit this summer.  We have a new town center with an outdoor pool and theatre.  We can swim all day and watch movies and plays in the evening.  A new pottery-making shop opened in town too.  We can actually make our own pottery there.  Fun is just a few weeks away!

At one time, the only way to cross San Francisco Bay was by ferryboat.  That changed when the Golden Gate Bridge opened to traffic.  Then people had a choice.  They could take their cars across on the ferry or over the less-expensive bridge.  The ferry owners were worried about losing business.  They dropped their prices, so it would cost less to take the ferry than to cross the bridge.
