Which significant relic (connected to Prophet Ibrahim (as)) still remains within the Ka'bah till this day (known as Muqam e Ibrahim)?

The fingerprints on the staff he walked with

The footprints on the stone he stood upon

The blood on the clothes he wore

The hair on the turban he wore

Answer explanation

The Maqam e Ibrahim - i.e. the ‘station of Ibrahim’ is a preserved stone on which the footprints of Prophet Ibrahim (as) have been left. This is the stone on which he stood whilst originally building the Ka’bah with his son Ismaeel (as). It is said that when the walls of the Ka’bah became higher, the stone would miraculously rise in order to allow Prophet Ibrahim (as) to continue laying the bricks on top.

Allah (swt) honoured this station by revealing a verse of the Quran about it:

“Take the Maqam of Ibrahim as a place of salah (a place behind which you perform two rakahs of salah after Tawaf)” [2:125]
