• No, it is not important because the Internet is a 100% safe space

• Yes, because it could be a place with many risks for everyone’s safety.

What’s the best advice to be responsible while using internet?

• Think before we post and share our thoughts, photos, and videos.

• We must treat others the way we want to be treated. We must always be respectful to people we deal with through phones, computer, and technology.

• Be careful in revealing personal information.

What do you do if a stranger is trying to contact you online? They seem interesting and have similar hobbies to you.  

• Be careful! Don’t connect or make contact with people who you have not met in real life. They could be a very different person to who they say they are.

• Say hi and meet them to become friends. Good friends can be found everywhere.

What should you do if someone tells you that a post you wrote is offensive to them, even if it's not offensive to you or your friends?

• Just ignore it and keep posting whatever I want.

• It’s hard to know how our posts will make others feel, especially when we’re communicating with children from different parts of the world. Let’s respect one another and edit or remove posts if others are offended by them.

What do you do if a person from World Vision sends you a message online or on your phone that makes you feel uncomfortable?  

• Tell your parents immediately.  Report it to a trusted World Vision person or to WV online. 

• Just ignore it!

• Reply in a defensive way.

What advice would you give to a friend to avoid digital dependence (being on your phone or tablet too much)? 

• Do not worry, everyone is connected to technology. 

• Make sure there is a lot of time in your day when you are not on your phone or tablet at all - such as time with friends and family.  

• Do not charge your device so often to limit the exposure to the screen. 

Someone in your class has sent around an embarrassing photo of another classmate. What should you do with it?

• Laugh at the photo with your friends

• Show a trust adult and explain what has happened and help my classmate.

• Forward the photo onto other people.

What do you do if someone asks for your WhatsApp number either on WV's platform or anytime while you're online?  

• Don’t give away your personal information. Your personal information is as precious as your personal belongings.

• Give them my number, we could start a friendship.
