What is not an OLMUN rule?

• Participants must wear formal clothes during sessions.

• Participants must speak English at all times during sessions.

• Participants must represent their countries and the positions of their countries.

• Participants must know and be able to sing their countries' national anthems.

• Participants must adhere to a strict speaking protocol and yield the floor back after speaking.

What happens when a participant does not follow the rules?

• The participant must pay a fine. The fine is paid in chocolate bars.

• The committee chairs give people punishments (like dancing, singing, doing exercises, etc).

• The participant's picture is shown on the "wall of penalty" in the Daily Diplomat.

• The UN secretary general hands on a yellow card the first time and excludes the participant on repeated offense.
