What are the secondary colours?

• Orange, green & brown

A tertiary colour is:

• A pastel colour

• Any colour that has 3 or more colours added to it including tones

• A colour made by adding a tone to it

• A primary and secondary colour added together

In colour theory, a shade is:

• A colour that has had grey added to it

• A colour that has a tonal value

• Any colour that has had white added to it

• Any colour that has had black added to it

What is a complimentary colour?

• A colour that contrasts with another colour

• A colour opposite on the colour wheel

• A colour that harmonises with another colour
