Alliteration - this is when the same letter sounds are used at the start of words over and over. Choose the example below that has alliteration in it.

Repetition - this is when the writer uses the same words or phrases over and over. Choose the example that has repetition:

Rhyme - this is when the end of a line sound similar to the end of the next line. Or when lines skip and every two lines rhyme and sound similar. Choose the example that has rhyme:

Assonance - this is when the same letter sounds are used a lot in one sentence. These letter sounds are the vowel sounds like "aye". You hear them when you read it out loud. Choose the example that has assonance:

Consonance - is similar to assonance, where the sounds are repeated in lots of words in a sentence. This time it is the consonants (not vowel) sounds. Find the example that has consonance:
