What do you do when you first come in to class?

• Catch up with your friends.

• Run around chasing my friends.

• Grab my notebook, a pencil, a Chromebook, and complete the Do Now.

If we want to get out of our seat, what do we do?

• Yell out the teacher's name.

• Get out of my seat.

• Raise your hand and wait till the teacher says yes.

• Wave my hand in the air while calling out my friend's name.

If we really want to share something, what do we do?

• Just say it. Someone will hear.

• Raise my hand and patiently wait to be called on.

• Raise my hand while calling out the teacher's name.

• Tell my friends while someone else is called on.

I love listening to music while I work independently. How do I earn it?

• Follow our classroom respect agreement and complete your assignments on time.

• Talk while the teacher is talking.

• Be rude to other students in the class.

• Not do my classwork.

Can I eat chips in class?

• Yes!

• No! That's the school's important rule.

• Only certain kinds

• In secret... muhaha (evil laugh)

I've made the choice to break our agreement, now what happens?

• I get a warning from the teacher, so I can change my behavior. One more and I get a consequence.

What's the bathroom procedure?

• Announce to the class that you have to go to the restroom.

• Call out the teacher's name.

• Quietly use a non-verbal cue to signal you have to go. If teacher says, wait or no, wait for instruction.

If a visitor walks into the classroom, what should the students do?

• Lower your voice and Keep working; ignore the visitor

• Turn around and greet the visitor

• Tell the teacher there is a visitor

• Start acting like you don't have any home training

If someone is bothering you in class, what should you do?

• Be annoying to them

• Yell at them

• Ask a friend for help

• Ask the teacher for help
