Tanya Perek 32

Originally this Perek did not appear in Tanya. The Alter Rebbe added it later. Why then did he insert it as Perek לב?

• because it is the "heart" of Tanya

• because you need to devote your "heart" to Hashem

• because this is the last Perek of the Sefer

What did the Alter Rebbe explain before in the Perakim before Perek 32?

• We should regard our body as despicable, but

  be joyous because of our soul

• We should always value the body more than the soul

• Moshiach will only come when everyone will love each other

• Every Mitzva is about raising the spiritual above the physical, which is the key to loving your fellow

• He didn't answer, it remains a question

• Since so many Mitzvos are about loving your fellow, what he said makes sense

When can we not fulfil our mission to draw down Hashem into the world?

• when Jews are separated and not united

• when Jews are not giving enough Tzedaka
