Put in order the steps to scanning

• The final paragraphs contain a conclusion or summary, you should stop skimming and read in detail.

• Read the first few paragraphs in detail to get an idea of what will be discussed.

• Decide if the rest of the paragraph is worth the read, then skim through looking for important information like dates, names, events, etc.
