Government ruled by a privileged (often noble class) group of people determined by wealth or birth; usually called nobles and power is inherited.

A system of government in which unlimited power is formally vested in one person; a monarch ruling without restriction is often referred too as an absolute monarch.

A system of government whereby a small group of people have all the power. Can sometimes mean that only a minority of people have rights and only a few influential people participate in politics.
