• Staring at the clock

• Making eye contact with the speaker

• Taking shoelaces out of shoes

• Counting pencils in your pencil case

• Telling them they may as well live on the moon.

• Rolling your eyes at what they say.

• Shaking head in a positive manner when someone has an opinion.

• Throwing a shoe at them.

This is a great way to manage your time....

• Taking turns using the restroom every 30 seconds.

• Making tallies after each minute goes by.

• Assigning a timekeeper to gently remind the group to stay on task and be done at the deadline.

• Going outside and looking at how far the sun has moved during the class period.

This is a great way to make sure all written work assigned is completed by the group.....

• Don't do any of it and make a terrible excuse.

• Claim that no one has their pencils.

• Tell the teacher that everyone's chromebooks are not charged.

• Assign each person part to do and then check it over together and proofread before handing in.

What does Mrs. Anderson expect to see during group work?

• Students who are doing their best, both with the work and with getting along.

• WWE wrestling when she isn't looking.

• Pencil towers being made and knocked over.

• Kids hiding under the tables, jumping on the couches and licking the walls.
