Nothing is more effective in putting a stop to neighborhood crime than the neighborhood watch. All you have to do is pay attention. If you are looking out your front window and you see something suspicious, like a person crawling through a neighbor's window, call the police. If each house on the block participates, over 100 eyes would be watching the block at all times, much better than any police department can do. So, pay attention, and together, we can put a stop to neighborhood crime.

What is this author's point of view... Are the world's oceans polluted (contaminated)? This is a question many experts have asked. There are signs of pollution in our oceans, such as a large floating body (mass) of plastic and garbage in the Pacific Ocean. There have also been oil (petroleum) spills around the world that have caused harm. However, I don't feel like these issues (problems) have hurt the oceans to the point of worry. Animals and fish are still surviving, and when I go to the beach I don't find myself swimming in plastic.
