The nervous system is made of:

• Brain, spinal cord and nerves

• Brain and spinal cord

• Brain and senses

Allow us to detect flavour through taste buds:

• Tongue

• Temperature

• Touch

Motor nerves...

• Receive messages from the environment (senses) and send them to the brain.

• Transmit messages that are send by the muscles

• Transmit electrochemical messages from one to another

They are connected...

• Smell and touch

• Sight and taste

• Smell and taste.

It controls involuntary actions:

• Cerebrum

• Cerebellum

• Brainstem

Neurons are also called:

• Nerve cells

• Sensory nerves

• Motor nerves

The spinal cord...

• It connects the brain to the rest of the body

• It sends the messages to a part of the body to react

• It is the responsible for balance and movement.

One of its parts is the cochlea:

• Skin

• Ear

• Eye

The cerebellum:

• It is the responsible for balance and movement.

• Controls our intelligence.

• It controls involuntary actions.

The three parts of a neuron are:

• Cell body, axon and spinal cord

• Cell body, axon and dendrites.

• Axon, dendrites and sensory nerves
