S.E.L- Social Awareness: Stepping Up to Help

An important part of being socially aware is

• doing what is most fun and enjoyable for yourself only

• competing against others to always be the best

• paying attention to others and our surroundings so we can step up and help when needed

When we each do our individual part to step up and help when we can

• it won't make a difference

• it will make the world a better place and inspire others to do the same!

• it will get us prizes

The young teens in the video showed social awareness and stepped up in a big way because

• they wanted to become famous

• they were bored and thought it could be fun

• they recognized an urgent need in their community and took responsibility to respond and help those in need
