The Violin

A. Gautam  The violin has many parts that work together to create sound. The largest part of the violin is the body. It is shaped like an hourglass.   When a musician draws a bow across the strings, the strings vibrate or shake. This vibration travels from the strings to the body through the bridge. The body is hollow, which makes the sound bigger. The sound comes from the f-holes.
