MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION

What is the central message of the story? Be sure to use evidence from the text to support your response.
The central message of Thunder Rose is that being strong on the inside is just as important as being strong on the outside. In the story, Rose shows that she is strong. First, she lifts a cow up to get milk. Next, she stops a wild steer by using her thunderbolt to jump on top of him. She tries to stop two tornadoes. She is not strong enough to stop the tornadoes from hitting so she stands up to the tornadoes by singing her most beautiful song. The song calms the tornado down, and they turn into rain. This shows that Rose can use her outer strength to help her and use her inner strength to help as well.
