What is the TSI

• A test that is given as a graduation requirement in the state of Texas.

• •The law requires all entering college students to be assessed for college readiness in reading, mathematics and writing unless the student qualifies for an exemption. 

• Similar to the STAAR but not as important.

• A requirement that Socorro ISD students have to complete.

Who must take the TSI?

• Freshman or they will not move to the next grade level.

• Any student who is thinking of attending an out of state school.

• Any student wanting to graduate.

• •Any student who wants to enroll in dual credit courses and anyone who wants to attend a Texas college or university.

What is the PAAM test?

• A pretest that is given before the TSI.

• Cooking spray

• Similar to the EOC test

• The test my Tia gives when my uncle isn't listening.
