The Amazon rainforest, in danger.

Indiscriminate logging, increased crops for human

consumption, livestock and exploitation of natural resources

have resulted in one-fifth of the Amazon rainforest having

disappeared in the last 50 years. This is an area equivalent to

twice the size of Spain and the consequences could be

catastrophic.
