Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Communication

The term "intra" means-

• when a person talks to another person

• "within", so the communication is within a person

• to enter into the communication zone

• to open up your private life to someone.

The term "inter" means-

• "between" when communication occure between two people.

• short for interstate

• talking on oneself

• When a person needs someone to talk to

The difference between intrapersonal and interpersonal communication is that-

• mind over matter

• group discussion and public

• one goes in our mind, and the other takes place between two or more people

• silent treatment

Thinking is a form of  -

• self-listening

• Intrapersonal communication

• communication channel

• decoding

When I am listening to the other person,

• I often cross my arms over my chest

• I often lean back and turn my body away from the speaker

• I lean slightly forward and turn my body towards the speaker
