When will my new student show up in Ellevation?

• On the same day they enroll in school

• Up to 24 hours after the X2 ELL Code and Entry Date is updated

• Up to 24 hours after the ESOL Secretary enrolls them

• They just magically appear!

Which information can NOT be obtained by viewing the WCPS Ellevation Dashboard?

• Number of

  Active ELs

• # of Languages spoken by your students

• Students who tested but did not qualify for ESOL services

• # of ELs at each proficiency level

How can I use the filter to see a list of my students with an overall proficiency level of 1.0-2.9?

• Type OVERALL in the filter and select levels 1 & 2

• Just look in the main list and find them all

• Nevermind Ellevation - you have to look in WIDA AMS

• Search by COMPOSITE LEVEL in the filter and select levels 1 & 2

Where should more specific information about an accommodation be entered (ex. extended time - other, specified area or setting)?

• Handwritten on the parent's accommodations document

• In an email sent to the STC

• In the "Comments" box in the Test Accommodations input window

• In the "Notes" section of the EL Plan meeting

If a student has no test accommodations, I do not need to enter anything in the "Test Accommodations" tab, and I do not need to obtain any signatures.
