Oops...I'm Sorry

I should accept corrections from my family. It is my family who

   should be the first one to correct me when I make a mistake.

Proverbs 9:8 Never correct ___ people they will

hate you for it. But if you correct the ___,

they will respect you.

When my family members correct me it is for my own good.

If my parents allow me to do anything I want and they do

not correct my mistakes, that means then they love me.

It feels bad whenever I am scolded but I think the bad feeling

will not last.  It’s still best to say sorry and mean it.

If I get used to doing bad things and no one tells me

that I am wrong then I will have a miserable life.

I don’t like being corrected. It makes me upset especially when

I’m not to be blamed. But I think I still need to say that I am sorry.

When I accept correction it is best that I should not be angry.

I have to learn to be humble and value what is right thing to do.

I can always learn from my mistakes. I can tell myself, ‘I was wrong.’

       And I can ask myself this question, “What can I learn from this mistake?’

Parents should ask these three questions,  “What did you do wrong?’

‘Why was that wrong?’ ‘What will you do differently next time?’

These questions help children to do what is right.
