Unlike an IEP or 504, a family doesn't need to request permission to be part of MTSS. We do, however, send a letter to each family requesting permission for their child to begin receiving Tier 2 supports, one of which is meeting with Dave H and Tony more frequently for progress checks, goal setting, and 1-to-1 instruction.
