What chores do you do at home?

• I do some chores, e.g. I tidy up, set the table, etc. But I don’t know how to use the washing machine and I hate using the vacuum cleaner.

• I don’t do chores much at all. That’s for parents, brothers and sisters.

• I use the dishwasher, the vacuum cleaner, and the washing machine. Sometimes I iron my shirts.

• Sometimes I earn money by helping somewhere, but I don’t earn a lot.

Do you manage your money?

• I budget – I plan how much I can spend on going out, hobbies, etc. – and I try to save a little every week.

• I often run out of money, so I have to borrow. I don’t see the point of saving.

• I try not to overspend, but I don’t really budget. Sometimes I save a little.

Are you environment-friendly at home?

• Yes. I always switch off the lights when I leave a room. I also try to save water and to separate rubbish.

• I usually remember to switch off the lights. But I like to take long showers.

• Not really. Heating, water and electricity are cheap, aren’t they?
