Define natural selection. Explain how this lab demonstrates the Theory of Natural Selection? (2 sentences)

Evaluate responses using AI:

OFF

Answer explanation

Natural selection is the process through which populations of living organisms adapt and change. Individuals in a population are naturally variable, meaning that they are all different in some ways.

In this lab, the birds with the best beaks to access the food available in their environment, (beans, rubber bands, pasts, and toothpicks), would be stronger and therefore pass on their traits to their offspring until that beak type dominates their environment.
