Sanctuary Chapters 7-10 Recap

Place the following events from Chapter 7 in chronological order...

• The family leaves their apartment in a really secretive way in the middle of the night in order to not get caught. They are headed to Sister Lottie's.

• They are on their way to NYC, but the bus has to stop for fuel. As they stop, DF agents board the bus for a second scan. Mami’s chip malfunctions and she is taken away by the DF. Mami tells Vali and Ernie to “GO!”

• There are scanning stations to get on the bus. It’s tense, but everyone gets in.

Place the following events from Chapter 8 in chronological order...

• Ernie and Vali escape the DF raid on the bus.

• They end up taking refuge in between two dumpsters.

• Both Vali and Ernie are desperate and don’t know what to do. Vali is trying her best to keep it together for Ernie.

• Vali and Ernie have to travel to NYC by land. Walking, train, car, or bus. But they run the risk of Vali's chip malfunctioning…

• They are struggling to get basic necessities for themselves. Eventually, they get on a bus, but the situation is very tense. They stop for their first real meal at a diner. 

• They walk into a town, but are so paranoid that they decide to walk in uninhabited areas instead.
