Meditation verse for the Book of Nehemiah chapters 1&2:
In chapter 1, we learn about Nehemiah who was sad and prayed to God to help him when he knew that the walls of Jerusalem are broken, and the gates are burned with fire.
In Chapter 2, we learn about Nehemiah, who besides a man of prayer, was a wise man; he did not move to build before seeking from the king messages that would support him to start the work.
In chapter 2 verse 20, we see that Nehemiah put his trust in the Lord, that He will give them success when they start building the walls. We should always put our trust in the Lord and have faith that He will help us, but we need to do our part and pray and work. We need to be honest in everything we do, homework, house chores, school projects… and then God will be with us and give us success.
“Well done, good and _____ servant; you have been faithful over a ______ things, I will make you ruler over ____ things.” (Matthew 25:23).
