What are tides?

• The ocean's rise and fall because of the sun's gravity pulling the water

• When two people both win

What is a daily tide?

• As the sun moves in its orbit around
  Earth, it exerts a gravitational force on
  the ocean, which causes a bulge to form
  in the ocean on both sides of Earth.

• As the moon moves in its orbit around
  Earth, it exerts a gravitational force on
  the ocean, which causes a bulge to form
  in the ocean on both sides of Earth.

• When the Earth is spinning which causes a bulge to form in the ocean on both sides of Earth
