What is Brainstorming ?

• is when you spend time finding out information that you really need to know about for your Design Challenge.

• is one of the primary methods employed during the Ideation stage of a typical Design Thinking process.

• This is when we get a project challenge and we have to develop the best ideas…

  We will work in a TEAM and discuss / group work to think of solutions.

• This is when we must start innovating and creating New ideas (or develop exisitng ideas)

What is Research ?

• is when you spend time finding out information that you really need to know about for your Design Challenge.

• is one of the primary methods employed during the Ideation stage of a typical Design Thinking process.

What is the design stage when we Choose the best idea?

• is when you have completed  at least 3 – 4 different ideas (from each member.) At this stage we could have 4 X 4 ideas giving us at least 16 ideas from all the Design Team.

• This is after we have drawn ideas and also as we start selecting ideas to make models about the project.

• this is when you take your models and try to use them.

  This is when you start to check whether your ideas and Design Making are working.

• this is when you have to think of all the feedback you receive from 'Testing and Evaluating' your design ideas / models / prototypes and still you know there are ways you can improve the designs.

What is Model or Prototype?
