4.2 Workplace Attendance Quiz

For full-time emplyees, Leave Without Pay (LWOP) must be first scheduled, and then approved by:

• 1. Time and Attendance Team 

•  Library Director or designee 

• Manager or Supervisors

Employees on Set Schedules:

• 1. Are expected to be on duty at their scheduled start time. 

• 2. Must clock in and out for lunch. 

• 3. May clock in up to 15 minutes before their shift and the shift would automatically begin at the scheduled start time.

How long is the departmental grace period for clocking in? 

• 1. One (1) min

• 2. Five (5) min

• 12 min

• 15 min

4. If employees are more than five (5) minutes late, then:

• 1. You will not need to make up the missed time.

• 2. Supervisors cannot adjust schedules if business needs allow it, due to the tardy.

• Points will be assessed as a tardy.

• Supervisors cannot approve flex time. 

5. For a Jury Duty summons or Jury Duty documentation, which of the following must you do?

• 1. The date of your Jury Duty summons must not be shared with supervisor.

• 2. You do not need to do a NOL for a Jury Duty summons.

• Jury Duty documentation must be submitted upon returning to work.

• 4. Any other Jury Duty paperwork must be signed and returned to the Judge.
